Enrique Quezada is a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science at Rice University. His work focuses on racial and ethnic politics, religion and politics, and American political behavior, more generally. Specifically, his work implicates group-specific language as a signal of group membership among Latinos and religious individuals and how voters use such language to judge who is a legitimate representative of their group.
