Katie Alexander (she/her) is a doctoral student and graduate research assistant in the Department of Sociology at Rice University. Her research interests include religion, gender, and sexuality, particularly how queer and transgender people experience religious belief, how religious identity and queer/trans identity interact, and how this impacts queer and trans wellbeing. Katie earned her B.A. in both Sociology and Politics and International Affairs from Wake Forest University.
