On October 3, 2018, the Religion and Public Life Program (RPLP) at Rice University hosted a panel discussion on religious discrimination and religiously based hate crimes. The discussion was moderated by RPLP director Elaine Howard Ecklund. Panelists included: Rabbi Steven Morgen, Congregation Beth Yeshurun; Christopher P. Scheitle, West Virginia University; and Manpreet K. Singh, The Sikh Coalition. This event was cosponsored by the Program in Jewish Studies at Rice University.
