On January 28, 2020, the RPLP hosted Richard Mouw, former president of Fuller Theological Seminary, Jason Shelton, associate professor of sociology and director of the Center for African American Studies at University of Texas at Arlington, and Janelle Wong, professor of American studies at University of Maryland, for a panel on race, politics, and American evangelicalism. The panelists offered their perspectives on the priorities of diverse evangelical voters and discussed the role that these groups will play in the 2020 election.
