The Religion and Public Life Program (RPLP) hosted How SCIENCE Can Strengthen the FAITH of Your CHURCH, an online conference focused on the relationship between Christianity and science. This session on SHALOM features Nichole R. Phillips, associate professor in the practice of sociology of religion and culture at Emory University, and Harvey Clemons, pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Houston, TX. The speakers reflected on racial disparities in science and ways forward for increasing diversity and equality within STEM fields, through the lens of Christian faith.
